why do people so blindly work themselves into a mess? why do they insist that they know the way out? why is it so hard for us to admit that we don't always know what's best for us -- that most of the time we know nothing of it? eventually, once we work ourselves into the most tangled mess possible, we figure out that we can't do it on our own. but why wait so long? don't we realize that it hurts more to wait than it does to admit it early on and accept the fact that we don't know what's best for ourselves? can't we just put our pride aside and ask for assistance? are we really that sure of ourselves; are we really that prideful? let's face it; we need help here. when we stop fighting against the tangles in which we have woven ourselves, put down the sword, wave our white flag in surrender, and call out for backup, we receive it. all it takes is a little humility.
Prov. 11:2 "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."
Prov. 15:33
