that the people around me are slowly falling victim to the enemy of our lives. you can say they don't know better; you can say they have no excuse for being the way they are. you can call it whatever you want; the truth is that they are unable to see for themselves at this point. if they could see the immediate as well as the long-term consequences of their desires, they may think twice. for so many who fight this battle, they remain unaware that they are even in a war, much less in the center of action on the battle field. and where are we in this situation? covering our beloved people and protecting them by attacking their opponent? or are we watching from our living rooms, complaining about how stupid their war is when we ourselves aren't involved? what kind of friends are we? rather, what kind of people do we believe we are in all this? if we cannot intercede for these people who cannot see for themselves, we are as good as blind; he who can see among the blind is of no use if he does not warn those without vision of the dangers around them. what kind of friend are you?
